What are your activities?

Research and Human Rights Monitoring:
In order to investigate and monitor the human rights violations that individuals who live in deep poverty experience, field interviews have been conducted, annotations, research reports and booklets have been published.



Change From Home Campaign:
This campaign, which has been initiated to address the immediate needs of people who are working in daily precarious jobs and cannot sustain their basic nourishment as well as care needs, provides regular monthly support to over 300 households in Istanbul and also provides bills and rent support in urgent situations.

Distance Education Support:
In situations where students require support in participating in distance education and following the classes, reading workshops and additional classes are conducted regarding following the classes and other fields of study such as math, science, and Turkish with university student volunteers. Thus, 114 children who are attending primary school, secondary school, and high school benefit from these workshops.

How do you reach the people that you will provide support?
The support is provided to households who are identified by DPN through field and telephone interviews that are conducted upon the guidance of supporters or local organizations and direct application of individuals.

In which cities/districts are you active?
DPN is active mostly in Ataşehir, Çekmeköy, Ümraniye, Sancaktepe, Pendik that are in the Anatolian side of Istanbul and mostly in Şişli, Beyoğlu, Fatih, Esenyurt that are in European side of Istanbul.

How can I become a supporter/volunteer
You can provide nourishment, basic care, diaper, and baby formula support for households who live in deep poverty thrıough the Change From Home campaign. Moreover, you can provide help in the institutional and organizational needs of DPN or participate in volunteer activities in various areas.
